My name is Magaly Rodriguez I am a proud Mexican American, born in Illinois but with strong Mexican roots thanks to my parents. For six years, I lived in Mexico and I learned so much about my culture, traditions, and the delicious food. My parents' best advice growing was, stay proud of your origins and chase your dreams, no matter how wild or hard it gets, it will be worth it at the end.
